NOTE FROM DEAN BAGLEY

For Macintosh users who want to bridge the gap between Stuffit and Zip compression formats, I cannot rave too much about Zipit. It is so fast and reliable that I love it. I am on the Macintosh and send and receive files from people on both the Mac and Windows platforms.

When I used Stuffit explicitly, I have had problems with some Windows people using Zip being able to open my Stuffit files. And I had problems opening their Zip files with Stuffit. There was no happy medium of Stuffit and Zip people both being able to open a compressed file, regardless of Stuffit or Zip.

Well, when I found Zip from www.maczipit.com, I finally found the impeccable happy medium. I can send and receive these Zip files from anyone, regardless of their Mac or Windows platform, and we all can open the files.

So, if you are a Macintosh user, and in a profession where you are exchanging compressed files between Mac and Windows users, I highly suggest Maczipit, which I have NEVER had a problem with. Click the Zipit logo at the top of the page to go to their site.
